Le monde a besoin de plus de nourriture car sa population augmente. Cette croissance démographique que connaît notre planète se traduit par une forte pression exercée sur les ressources naturelles. C’est pourquoi, la tendance a développé des systèmes qui produisent de plus en plus de nourriture par l’unité de surface est traditionnellement liée à l’accroissement de la population humaine.Ainsi cette sécurité alimentaire doit se confirmer par un accès de garantir à la nourriture à tout le monde et en temps voulu. Et cette sécurité alimentaire a un double aspect, à savoir il doit y avoir assez des nourritures (aliment) disponibles pour répondre à la demande et de même les ménages pauvres doivent avoir un revenu suffisant pour acheter leur nourriture.
