Nous investigations ont porté sur l'évaluation de la biodiversité des Lépidoptères Rhopalocères dans deux forêts artificielles à Kisangani. La capture a été faite à l'aide d'un filet à papillons. Au Jardin Zoologique de Kisangani, nous avons travaillé en Jachère et en forêt secondaire. Compte tenu des effectifs capturés (526 spécimens des Lépidoptères Rhopalocères), la Jachère prédomine (283 spécimens) par rapport à la forêt secondaire (243 spécimens). Du point de vue systématique, les 526 spécimens capturés appartiennent à 90 espèces, 36 genres et 8 familles. Dans le Jardin Botanique de la Faculté des Sciences de l'Université de Kisangani, nous avons travaillé dans un seul biotope qui est la forêt secondaire où nous avons récolté 401 spécimens des papillons du jour appartenant à 41espèces, 21 genres et 8 familles
