Ce travail consiste en une taxonomie des commelinaceae des sous-régions de Kisangani et de la Tshopo. Nous avons procédé à un inventaire floristique des espèces par récolte des échantillons, consultations des specimens conservés aux herbaria locaux et des données bibliographiques.
L'étude a aboutit à la description et détermination de 35 espèces des Commelinaceae. De toutes ces espèces, 28 avaient déjà été signalées, 5 sont nouvellement signalées dans cette flore et 2 sont nouvelles pour la science.
La clé de détermination établie permet de reconnaitre chacune des espèces étudiées dans cette flore.
