L'étude de la végétation arbustive et arborescente des sols hydromorphes de MASAKO et ses environs nous a permis de reconnaître 3associations et 4 groupements végétaux à savoir :
- Association à Mimosa pigra Devred 1954
- Groupement à Aeschynomune cristata Ndjele 1978
- Association à Alchornea Cordifolia Léonard (1950) 1951
- Association à Mitragyna stipulosa et Macaranga saccifera Ass.nov.
- Groupement à Malouetia bequaertiana
- Groupement à Uapaca guineensis et Pycnanthus marchalianus -Groupement à Cercestis congensis et Pachystela bequaertii
Ces associations et groupements végétaux sont décrits au point de vue écologie et physionomie. Les spectres biologiques et phytogéographiques sont aussi envisagés.
Par ailleurs, une esquisse dendrométrique a été effectuée dans les groupements arborescents à savoir; l'association à Mitragyna stipulosa et Macaranga saccifera, le groupement à Uapaca guineensis et Pycnanthus marchalianus et le groupement à Cercestis congensis et Pachystela bequaertii.
