Les grains de pollen,elements reproductreurs males des plantes presentent des structures differentes suivant les taxa.Ils constituent ainsi des caractères taxonomiques indiscutables.Ces caractères morphologiques utilisés pour determiner les differentents plantes permettent de situer la parenté ainsi que la filiation des végétaux.
