La présente étude porte sur la flore de la forêt à Gilbertiodendron devrevrei de Yalisombo sur une superficie d' un hectare.
Durant cette étude espèces ont été recensées dont 20 Ptériophytes et 404 Spermatophytes (Spermatophyta) qui sont des Angiospermes. Les Mangoliatae dominent sur les Liliatae avec un taux de 83,25%.
La flore de la dite forêt est dominée par les Phanérophytes à dissémination de type sarcochore et à distribution phytogéographique guinéo-congolaise. Ce sont surtout les espèces ligneuses de la classe phytosociologique de Strombosio-Parifiarietea Lebrun et Gilbert
1954.
