En R.D.C,les forêts couvrent 145 millions d’hectare (62% du territoire national).
Près de 12,2 millions d’hectares (8% du territoire national): concessions forestières (De Wasseige et al., 2012).
Bien connaître le comportement des espèces exploitables pour une gestion durable de la ressource en bois.
Solution: mettre en place des dispositifs permanents (Strayer et al., 1986).
