Le présent travail a porté sur la flore géophytique de la YOKO (UBUNDU, RDC). Cette dernière comprend au total 34 espèces réparties en 16 familles.
La famille la plus représentée est celle de Zingibéraceae. Le matériel inventorié révèle une large prédominance des herbes vivaces ainsi que des géophytes rhizomateux. Le type de diaspore est dominé par les sarcochores. La flore géophytique de YOKO est constituée en majeure partie des espèces à très large distribution. La plus part des espèces ne protègent pas leurs bourgeons de régénérescence et se retrouvent surtout en jachères.
