La présente étude porte sur les sous-bois des sols périodiquernent inondés de l’ile Mbiye. Cette étude a été menée sur un biotope particulier. Le milieu prospecté nous a conduit aux résultats ci-après : 99 espèces ont été recensées dans lesquelles sont groupées 87 genres. 41 families. 23 ordres. 7 sous-classes. 3 sous-embranchernents ct J ernbranchernents.Ces espèces se subdivisent en deux classes dont 89 espèces appartiennent à la classes de Dicotyledones et 7 pour celle de monocotylédone qui oru (OUS des. angiosperrnes. Dans cette étude les plantes ligneuses predorninent (88.9%) e1les sont en rnajorite phanerophytes (86.900) it dissémination a type sarcochores (75.8%). Les distributions phytogéographique dominante est guinéo-congolaises (79.8%).Dans cette étude. les résultats obtenus ont été comparés avec ceux des auteurs pour les formations forestières proches.
