Le présent travail avait pour but de contribuer à la détermination du coefficient moyen de forme de Brachystegia laurentii (De Wild) Louis dans la forêt de Biaro.
Un échantillon de 177 tiges à DHP ≥ 10cm a été retenu pour déterminer ce coefficient moyen de forme.
Le calcul de coefficient de forme a été obtenu par le rapport du volume réel (volume SMALIAN) au volume cylindrique.
Après le calcul, le coefficient moyen de forme trouvé est de 0,78. Cette valeur signifie que le fût de Brachystegia laurentii de la forêt de Biaro tend vers la forme du cylindre.
