Cette étude est une contribution sur les connaissances de la structure spatiale et de la richesse spécifique de la forêt à Afzelia bipindensis Harms dans la mesure en carré dans les dispositifs permanent en jachère à Yangambi.
Sur le plan didactique et aussi scientifique, cette étude fournit des données fiables qui s'inscrivent dans l'inventaire du patrimoine national en particulier et mondial en général. Elle constitue une base de toute autre étude écologique ayant pour but de caractériser la distribution spatiale et conservation de la diversité biologique dans les tropiques humides.
